Policy

Terms of Use

The plain-language agreement for using this site.

Effective: August 8, 2026

1. What this site is

lifegivingcompassion.com publishes educational and creative content about community care, transparent giving, mutual aid, creative practice, and disaster-relief literacy, presented through Song — a fictional, AI-assisted Castleborn character whose content is human-directed and reviewed. By using the site, you accept these terms.

2. Not professional advice

Nothing here is medical, mental-health, legal, tax, financial, or investment advice, and nothing creates a professional or fiduciary relationship. Content is general education. Decisions about your money, health, or safety should involve the relevant qualified professional and your own verification — this site literally teaches you how to do that verification.

3. No solicitation

This site does not request, accept, process, or direct donations, and it does not endorse specific organizations as recipients for your money. Links to public records and educational resources are provided for your own research. Anyone claiming to collect money on behalf of this brand is not authorized to do so.

4. Fiction, kept unmistakable

Song, her history, and the Castleborn world are fiction. Story material is presented as story. No content on this site should be read as a claim that fictional events, injuries, or experiences occurred in the real world.

5. Intellectual property

The Song character, the Castleborn world, site text, and original visual assets are the property of their owner. AI-generated character images are disclosed as such and carry provenance in their archived originals. You may share links to this site freely and quote reasonable excerpts with attribution. Do not use Song's identity or images to impersonate the brand, endorse products, or — especially — solicit money.

6. External links

Links to third-party sites (government records, charity evaluators, platforms, professional associations) are provided for education. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices.

7. No warranties; limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is." We work hard on accuracy — including a public corrections policy — but we make no warranty that content is complete, current, or error-free, and we accept no liability for decisions made based on it. Your generosity decisions, and their outcomes, remain your own.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated; changes will appear on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
